When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

產品介紹  :  CD2 is a surface antigen of the human T lymphocyte lineage that is expressed on all peripheral blood T cells. It is one of the earliest T cell markers, being present on more than 95% of thymocytes; it is also found on some natural killer cells but not on B lymphocytes.

CD2 interacts with lymphocyte function associated antigen (LFA3) and CD48/BCM1 to mediate adhesion between T cells and other cell types. CD2 is implicated in the triggering of T cells, the cytoplasmic domain is implicated in the signaling function. It is useful for the identification of lymphomas and leukaemias of T cell origin.

Function:

CD2 interacts with lymphocyte function-associated antigen (LFA-3) and CD48/BCM1 to mediate adhesion between T-cells and other cell types. CD2 is implicated in the triggering of T-cells, the cytoplasmic domain is implicated in the signaling function.

CD2分子又稱T11、綿羊紅細胞受體（ER）、淋巴細胞功能相關抗原2（LFA-2）和Leu5，是人T淋巴細胞表面的單鏈糖蛋白.CD2分子是分布于胸腺細胞及所有成熟T淋巴細胞和大部分自然殺傷細胞表面的特征性分化抗原。CD2具有調節T淋巴細胞分化、成熟、激活和凋亡等功能，CD2與LFA-3之間的粘附功能對于T淋巴細胞TCR識別外來抗原與APC細胞表面MHC抗原復合物、腫瘤抗原、病毒感染靶細胞以及同種異體抗原均有重要的輔助作用。

最近研究表明，CD48和CD59也是CD2的配體，參與T細胞的粘附和細胞間的相互作用,此外，CD2可以與其它膜分子如CD44、CD45的功能有關。CD2具有對T細胞的旁路激活途徑作用。
